I'm probably missing something simple.
I have a lot of contacts that are husband and wife ... of course with SOC each has a place for their birthday.
I created a campaign for men and a campaign for women for 2008 birthdays.
My problem is one of the upcoming birthdays is a wife -- and she's the "secondary" contact. When I search for last name it only shows one record (husbands name).
How do I select the WIFE to get the birthday card?
I know how to send campaigns... sent dozens of them. Just never tried to send one to ONE of the contacts but not both...

Terrence Alexander | | Wow Pizza boy, you are way ahead of where I am. I hope someone out there has the answer to this, I'm still about 3 steps behind you.
One mistake I would like share that I made this season was sending out a holiday card campaign and forgetting to delete last year's card. Everyone I sent to then received last year's card (wishing them a happy 2007) and this year's card wishing them a happy 2008.

I have not sent birthday campaigns. I do know that I get reminders for the other spouse (not the main contact) when it is seven days before their birthday.
I also am aware that you can go to manage campaigns and chose the name of the contact. When it comes up, chose edit. From the edit point you can change the name and the date the card will be sent.

Lidie Gray | | Another way is to go to contact list and when you click into the account then scroll down where the spouse's name is. You can click on the spouse's name and send a card - I think you can send campaign card from there. Also, if you put in the spouse's birth date reminder will be sent.
